Mention of Man of La Mancha brings me to this. In the second season of Quantum Leap, Scott Bakula wound up in an on-screen production of that musical. And performed a number of songs in the process. What’s less well known if that before that show he was a Tony Award nominated Broadway performer. So, when it came to performing the numbers, he was fantastic.

And a medley of numbers from Man of La Mancha, performed by Bakula, were released on the Quantum Leap soundtrack. So, if you’ve ever wanted to hear Sam Beckett singing The Impossible Dream…

Quantum Leap. (via littlegoldfishes)
Got up at half 6 in the morning to watch the final episode of Quantum Leap as it recorded. I cried. I’m not even mad. SO MUCH HATE FOR CANCELLATIONS.

My hatred for that cancellation:

Anyway! Off to school. I shall be like this all day:

I’m on Season 5 right now! Currently watching the Trilogy episodes. I watched it all when it originally aired but I don’t remember it very well because I was a kid at the time. I’m super bummed that this show didn’t last longer…

He’ll Be There - Scott Bakula and Shari Headley

I love any episode where Scott Bakula sings.
